Shown here are Bernie, Gala, and Chloe on a crisp March day enjoying the sunshine.
Gala Comes to us from Sacramento, California From Bobbie Hefner.
"Adesa Milagro On Castle Mountain" call name Truman who is the sire of our expected litter with Chloe. She is due August 4th and the ultrasound counted 8 or 9.

Here is Diesel on his 3 year old birthday.

Congratulations to the Joe and Karen Moran family (of southern California) on their purchase of Teddy. We had gotten extra close to this puppy since he was the last one to leave us, so we were extra thrilled the home was such a good fit for him. Karen reports that Teddy has fit right into the family, is enjoying the colder recent temperatures, and has made good friends with their Great Dane.

I was so happy to hear from Marc and Patty from Maine on their puppy Coco. She has settled in very nicely with her new BFF "Rocco". Rocco had just gotten through the loss of his best friend Romeo when Coco came into the family. He is now back to being his happy self again. Marc reports that Coco is the easiest dog they have ever trained, sleeps through the night, and doesn't bark or chew. Thank you Marc and Patty for giving Coco such a wonderful, loving home!

Happy Holidays from Marc and Patty Milowski with their two Berners, Rocco and Coco.

Congratulations to Charlie and Annie Davis on their new puppy Anja. This gorgeous puppy gets to live in the beautiful hills of Vermont.

Congratulations to Jonathan & Phoebe Graber and their two children Ethan and Abby for the gorgeous family picture with their puppy "Coal". They report that Coal is growing so much, sleeping dry (yippee!) through the night, and will have his first road trip to watch Ethan in the Semi-State Marching Band competition. Good luck Ethan! A huge thank you to the Graber family for giving this loving adorable puppy a great home.
Congratulations to the Elizabeth and Brian Young family on the new addition to their family! Elizabeth is shown here with the two parents and Gala looking on. Their little girl puppy is so adorable and will love her new home. What an amazing portrait! These are Nathan and Maureen Clayton's four  gorgeous children with their new puppy "Phoebe". Nathan reports that Phoebe is coming along nicely with her crate and potty training. She will be starting her obedience classes very soon. Thank you Nathan for the new pictures. They were all so good it was hard to pick which one to use.
Here are the puppies at 3 weeks and 4 days. We got them outside for the first time today.
They were exhausted when we brought them back in the house... they all had a nice long nap!
Black Creek Chloe
We are so excited to announce the new arrival of a litter of Berners with parents "Black Creek Chloe" and "Bear-Acres Diesel". Diesel is on his last leg of getting his Championship title so is currently on the road with Shery Alligood. The long awaited (2 years) litter of Chloe's BMD puppies arrived Sunday night, July 26th and will be ready for new homes after the first week of September. BOTH parents are OFA Certified, Von Willenbrand negative, cleared negative for any eye defects by a Canine Opthomologist. We will be taking deposits in the next month. We will be posting new pictures regularly as they mature. There are 3 boys and 5 girls.
Hooray for Gala!! She had her very first dog show in Livonia, Michigan over the Labor Day weekend. She showed in the 6-9 month puppy class and was the youngest (and smallest) in the class, but carried herself like a real pro. She was so relaxed and well behaved and we were SO proud of her.
This was Diesel's first Halloween. He and Bernie
dressed up like Santa's and went to a party
where they played "musical sit on a carpet
square" had treats and prizes for costumes.
Chloe is helping me in the pasture. We were doing a foal photo shoot that day.
Here's the whole gang on a nice May day. Gala's hero is Diesel. He's still enough of a puppy to want to play tag and keep away with the chewy. Chloe has her "big-girl pants" on and will be ready to breed in about 10 days to Zermatt. Bernie just got home for the summer with Peter who is studying now for the LSAT's. Diesel, Gala, and Bernie take a break
from running in the yard.
Here is Bernie giving Indy a kiss! Gala decided she wants to be a dental hygienist when she grows up... she loves cleaning everyones teeth.
Diesel is shown here with our orphan baby, Faith, that he adopted. He takes his job very seriously and was a great pal for this baby til she was old enough to share a stall with our donkey. This is Chloe and Bernie in 2005.
They were 1 month apart in age and we fell so hard for Bernie that we knew we wanted a 2nd one so we found Chloe that summer.
Congratulations Diesel and Jerry Bish
on their wins at the Auburn Dog Show recently where
this great team won Best of Breed, Best Dog,
and Best of Winners!
